DTS Refrigeration Is Now Cryvex: The Next Step for Terravest Group

At Terravest, we've been building something deliberate: a New Zealand-owned group that looks after milk quality at every stage, from the cow to the collection tanker. Today that picture gets sharper. DTS Refrigeration is officially now Cryvex.

DTS Refrigeration has rebranded to Cryvex.

A name that matches the mission

DTS Refrigeration has kept milk cold in sheds across the country for decades, and the business started out of Tru-Test. It has grown well past milk vat refrigeration. Today it also covers precooling, low-GWP A2L refrigeration, cool rooms, commercial refrigeration, chiller hire and electrical services. Cryvex is a name big enough for all of that and for where dairy refrigeration in New Zealand is heading.

"We're proud of everything DTS Refrigeration has built, but Cryvex is about where we're going," says Terravest CEO Kip Bodle. "Farmers are under pressure to cut costs and emissions while producing top-quality milk. We're here to make that easier with smarter, more efficient, more sustainable solutions, backed by people they already trust."

Three brands, one goal

With Cryvex in place, the Terravest Group brand family is complete:

  • Deosan gets things off to a strong start with teat care, shed hygiene and trace minerals.

  • Cryvex chills milk fast and keeps it cold.

  • Agora watches the vat around the clock with real-time vat monitoring.

Each brand is a specialist in its own area. Together, they cover milk quality from teat to tanker, so farmers can work with one group that understands the whole system rather than juggling separate suppliers.

For DTS customers, it's business as usual

The technicians, service agreements and warranties all stay the same, and so does the number: 0800 500 387. The only thing that's new is the name on the van.
